Up to 65% less binder carbon. No new cement.

Almost all of concrete's carbon comes from cement. Trident lets a producer replace most of that cement with slag or fly ash already in the plant. A mix with 20% cement and 80% slag still out-performs a mix with almost four times the cement.

The SCM does most of the carbon work. Trident makes the last step practical.

At 80% slag, the equal-strength model reaches about 117 kg CO₂e/m³ of binder — 65% below a standard 80/20 mix.

Where 80% applies

Foundations, interior slabs, tilt-up and mass pours can use the deepest replacement. Concrete exposed to deicing chemicals stays at 50% slag under ACI 318 F3 — modeled at 39% less binder carbon than an equal-strength standard 80/20 mix.

Speed + carbon

High-SCM concrete: 28-day strength in 7 days, 40% higher at 28.

Cost + carbon

About 9–13% lower materials cost at equal strength across 50–80% SCM, net of Trident.

For project reporting, we model savings against the producer's current equal-strength mix before a pilot.

Trident-enabled concrete is built to qualify for low-carbon concrete certificates, issued through the producer. We'll help your producer document it.
