Material TEC is AASHTO R18 accredited. R18 describes laboratory accreditation; ASTM C666 is the freeze-thaw test.
Exposure classes
ACI 318 caps slag at 50% of cementitious material for concrete exposed to deicing chemicals under F3. Foundations, interior slabs, tilt-up and mass pours can use deeper replacement subject to the engineer's specification and trial batch.
