Dishank Patel

Dishank Patel

Co-founder & CEO

LinkedIn

Dishank co-founded Pipedream in 2020 and leads the company. His work before Pipedream was in carbon nanomaterials: at Helion C he developed a process for producing single-walled carbon nanotubes at scale, along with the incorporation techniques to disperse them into plastic matrices at loading levels well below those reported in the literature. Making a nanomaterial manufacturable, and getting it to disperse evenly in a host matrix, are the two problems that decide whether nano-scale performance survives contact with production — and they are the direct antecedent of Trident. He is a named inventor on Pipedream's continuous-flow aerogel process and co-inventor of the product line. He previously founded Keyp, a hardware-fingerprinting security company, where he raised the first round, built the engineering and executive team, and led its patent-licensing discussions.

Co-founder & COO

Dhaivil is a biochemical engineer, a University of Georgia graduate, and leads R&D and operations at Pipedream. His work is in nanomaterial generation — nanocrystal formation, and building composites to specific physical-property targets. He holds four patents covering both production processes and the techniques for incorporating nanomaterials into plastics, concrete, and coatings. He co-invented Trident and the rest of the Pipedream product line, and runs the lab programs behind the trial data on this site.
